Lemon Delight Tea Blend

Lemon balm: Lemon balm is gentle and has many uses. It is useful as a cooling diaphoretic for fevers. Since it removes surface tension from the body, it is effective for the treatment for nervous tension and depression. It can also be used like other mints for upset stomach and gas. Because of its gentle properties and pleasant flavor, it is suitable even for children.

Chamomile: This is highly regarded for its digestive and calming properties. AKA “Band-Aid for the stomach”, it is one of the first herbs considered for all digestive complaints. It is a good remedy for a number of diseases ranging from the common cold and flu to digestive disorders, diarrhea, menstrual cramps, nervousness and insomnia. Chamomile with its high assimilable calcium content, is even effective for irritable children and teething, colicky infants.

Catnip: A member of the mint family, catnip is useful for fevers, flu, colds, restlessness, colic, nervous headache, flatulence, and stomach ache. It will induce a peaceful, restful sleep, even during illness. It also causes perspiration without raising the heat of the system. In large doses, it can be emetic.

Mint: Is used for colds, flu, fevers, gas and mild digestive disorders.

Lemon peel: (Chen Pi) This herb counteracts the formation of mucous. It is added to herbal formulas to improve digestion and as a stimulant to promote circulation of energy. It counteracts diarrhea, vomiting, colds, indigestion, and abdominal swelling.
